Glencoe Posh was the first of Last Word’s fillies to be sold.  At just 16 months she sold for $12,250 to Shane and Janet Everingham. Earmarked for a show career and futurities, “Posh” certainly delivered.

Posh was sold on to Terry Snow for $20,000 and sources tell us, “She’s Terry’s favourite mare, actually she is everyone's’ favourite mare here at Willinga Park!”

“She is an eye catching, very beautiful & great natured mare, she is the perfect broodmare that breeds her quality onto her progeny.”

Glencoe Uniquer hit the ground running. At just 16 months, she was unbeaten when shown as a yearling, winning and placing in all of her led classes.  When she competed at the Stock Horse Nationals as a 3 year old she performed well in all the big classes.

Glencoe Pretty Neat was purchased at auction by an agent on behalf of Sandhaven Performance Horses when she was just 16 months old.  They loved her movement and were looking for some “old school” genetics.

After being in training with Steven Hart, in August of 2018 she was exported to Sandhaven’s stud in Texas, USA,

Owner Kellee Campbell said, “January 6, 2020 was her first Working Equitation outing, and she was wonderful!  So calm and accepting.  This big mare is going to grow into a fabulous mover and we love her!”

Sandhaven thought enough of Pretty Neat after her arrival that they shipped semen from Last Word into the US late last season.  Unfortunately Corona virus  means there is no foals by him as yet, but they are planning to put a TB mare to him.  Exciting times ahead!

Last Word’s progeny excel in the showring & sales arena, but are also handy workers, perfectly capable of a good, hard days work in the mustering camp.
