Boonara Performance Horses is a world class equestrian breeding and training centre, specialising in campdraft and challenge horses, located at Tansey in South East Queensland.

Owner operators Huon and Colleen Smith are hands on in the daily operation of the extensive equine centre which ensures the best outcome for horses and owners alike. 

With over 20 years experience in the performance horse industry Huon has established himself as one of Australia’s premiere equestrian trainers and coaches.

He has won or finalled in all of Australia’s biggest challenges and campdrafts on numerous occasions including the Cloncurry Stockman’s Challenge, Rocky Rush, Paradise Lagoons, Warwick Gold Cup, Australian Stock Horse Association Futurities and Maturities across Australia and the National Cutting Horse Association Snaffle Bit Futurity.

As a true all rounder Huon knows what it takes to breed a horse which will make it to an elite level.
